Crystal Voice Data Ltd (company no. 13442068), 5 The Watermark, Ferry Road, Cardiff CF11 0JU. Version 1.0, effective 30 October 2026.

1. Purpose

This Fair Use Policy applies to any Crystal Voice Data (CVD) service described as unlimited, inclusive or bundled, including inclusive call minutes, broadband, mobile data, SMS and hosted telephony. It forms part of CVD's Standard Terms and Conditions. It exists so that the network stays reliable and fairly priced for all business customers.

2. What is fair use

Inclusive allowances are for normal business use by the Customer's own staff at its own sites. Use is not fair where it is materially above that of a typical UK business customer of a similar size, or where the service is used for: call centres, auto-diallers or bulk/broadcast calling or messaging (unless agreed in writing); resale or sharing of the service with third parties; SIM boxes, gateways or call-routing to generate traffic; continuous or artificially inflated connections; calls to numbers designed to generate revenue for the caller; or any unlawful, fraudulent or nuisance purpose (including breach of Ofcom rules on persistent misuse).

3. Guide limits

As a guide, CVD may review usage exceeding, per line or user per month: 4,000 inclusive UK voice minutes; 2,000 SMS; or 750GB of UK mobile data. Broadband is not capped, but CVD or its network providers may manage traffic at peak times to protect the network.

4. What CVD will do

If usage appears outside fair use, CVD will contact the Customer first, explain the issue and give a reasonable opportunity to reduce usage or move to a more suitable tariff. If the issue continues, CVD may charge for excess usage at its published rates (for example, £25 per 4,000 minutes or 750GB of data, and £50 per 2,000 SMS, or part thereof, plus VAT), move the Customer to an appropriate tariff, or, as a last resort and on notice, restrict or suspend the affected service. CVD may act immediately where use is fraudulent, unlawful or threatens the network. Access to emergency services (999/112) will not be deliberately restricted under this policy.

5. Changes and contact

CVD may update this policy from time to time. Material changes that are not to the Customer's benefit will be notified in line with the Contract and Ofcom General Conditions. Questions: info@crystalvoicedata.com or 0333 5678 444 (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm).
